Abstract
The world suffers from numerous crimes that are no longer confined within the national borders of a state, but have evolved due to many reasons until they became transnational crimes. In this regard, the crime of human trafficking stands out, and is classified as one of the most dangerous crimes in the world, as it affects the very essence of human life, dignity and rights. Organized criminal networks stand behind it, achieving profits of billions of dollars, and claiming the lives of millions of people. The severity of this crime is such that the number of victims cannot be accurately known, and its consequences for its victims continue. As far as Iraq is concerned, it is one of the countries in the world that has been harmed by this crime, especially after the year 2014, as it coincided with the entry of the terrorist ISIS into Iraqi territory, and the great destruction and devastation it caused, and the most heinous violations against humanity.
