Abstract
Violent extremism is a negative phenomenon that casts its shadow on the society in which it spreads because it represents a major obstacle and challenge to the implementation of democracy, human rights, dialogue and peaceful coexistence among the components of one society. These extremist and deviant ideas must be confronted with plans and strategies that are developed and studied in scientific ways that show the explain of the reasons that led to its spread of these ideas and the most important factors that helped them grow and spread in society. These plans and strategies are implemented by various state institutions, including educational institutions that play the largest role in confronting these violent extremist ideas, as these institutions work to provide a safe educational environment that encourages dialogue, mutual understanding and acceptance of others and prevents young people from slipping into extremism by organizing events and workshops on issues of peace, dialogue, peaceful coexistence and human rights to encourage students to interact and exchange opinions in a positive way.
