Abstract

The research focuses on the paths of international relations after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, due to the West’s insistence on including it in the European Union and NATO, which provoked Russia. Because this meant a threat to Russian national security, the escalation led to a loss of control over the management of the crisis, turning it into a Russian-Ukrainian war whose effects were reflected globally, after Russian President Vladimir Putin used the policy of proliferation and deterrence to confront the United States of America - and the European Union (NATO) and refute the policy of economic encirclement.
