Abstract
Nowadays, women's work has become a feature of contemporary societies, as women share with men in many areas of work, but the nature of women who have a weaker structure compared to men and their physiological role necessitated restricting their work and prohibiting everything that would harm their physical and psychological safety or their morals. Therefore, there is an international consensus to recognize their rights and work to protect them. Labor laws have also worked to protect them, including the Iraqi Labor Law No. (37) of 2015. However, the objective penal protection for working women came at times real and effective protection, and at other times it was incomplete and not commensurate with the importance Her role in the family and work.
