Father and mother may have an Impact on the acquisition of citizenship as per conditions set by the legislator under whichh it affirms the right of the individual after the approval of the competent authorities. Nevertheless, when it comes to the techniques of artificial reproduction in this regard, different trajectories may be taken; and this Is due to the absence of Iraqi legislation on artificial reproductive techniques and standing towards clear steps, on the one hand, and on the other hand with regard to the diversity of international systems regarding the contents of the provisions of these techniques and the exact definition of family origin. That fact explained the distinction between the foreign International system and the Iraqi legislator in term of the vision of those who are authorized, as we are dealing with citizenship by birth, which will be Interfered by the foreign element born either from the law on the filiations of the children in, or for the jurisdiction of that law to record the documents of those births according to the ad hoc legislation. All of this will affect the extent of the rights of those born from artificial reproductive techniques to enjoy Iraqi citizenship in this scope, which is the focus and scope of the lines of research under consideration.
