Abstract
Iraq and Turkey, the countries are close neighbors linked by historical ties, cultural, economic and sought countries to develop their relations since the recognition of Turkey's Iraq in 1927 based on their common interests, especially since these two countries have common borders and common issues such as water, Kurds and Turkmen, and finally the oil, but no doubt that the Iraqi relations - Turkish passed roles characterized in the Covenants Royal and Republican friendly relations developed, particularly during the era of the monarchy when he held the alliance Iraq-Turkey in 1955 and developed into the Baghdad Pact, and continued this development in the republican era through Hakpti the seventies and eighties of the last century and at all levels, political, economic and security.
