Abstract
A medical robot is a programmed automated device used in the medical field to provide precise medical services such as electronic surgery, diagnosis, care, and monitoring. The most prominent features of a medical robot are its autonomy, self-learning, and ability to perform precise and complex medical procedures that require high precision, often exceeding the capabilities of a normal human. It is also characterized by its human-like physical appearance and its high capacity for reasoning and decision-making. The most important types of medical robots are surgical robots and healthcare robots. Furthermore, it consists of an intangible aspect represented by algorithms characterized by extreme accuracy and speed of performance, which are characterized by a low incidence of medical errors. Medical robots also possess a high degree of flexibility, enabling them to adapt to diverse medical environments. They serve as a tool that assists and enhances the efficiency of the medical team and staff without compromising their human role.
