Environmental damage caused by armed conflicts represents a growing challenge to the international community, with long-term consequences that affect not only human life but also the natural environment. This research aims to examine the extent to which international criminal justice addresses such violations by analyzing legal frameworks that criminalize environmental harm during war. It also explores international accountability mechanisms and highlights the need to develop criminal provisions to ensure effective environmental protection and prevent impunity. Through legal analysis and critical reflection, the study proposes practical approaches to strengthen environmental justice in times of conflict.
