Abstract
The research is based on the premise that "the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is one of the most important international organizations with a direct impact in Iraq, given the programs and strategies it provides that have helped it achieve its goals. Its branch in Iraq is one of the branches that continues to operate in cooperation with the Iraqi government to assist migrants, whether internally or internationally." The International Organization for Migration (IOM) operates in Iraq, like other international organizations operating in Iraq, such as the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and the International Labor Organization (ILO). IOM Iraq works in cooperation with the central Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to provide support throughout the country's (18) governorates, adopting a comprehensive approach that focuses on sustainable and long-term impact, while also serving critical and essential areas. The research problem is represented by the multiplicity of international agencies or committees that specialize in the issue of migration, which led to difficulty in research due to the overlapping of information about the organizations under research.
