Abstract

Given the importance of money in our modern era due to its role in managing the requirements of living at the level of society in general, money has gone through rapid stages of development as a result of the modern technological revolution and its interactions in all other aspects of life. The problem of the subject is evident in stating the idea of smart sanctions, and whether smart international sanctions are affected by cryptocurrencies as they target financial activities, and are there realistic applications for dealing with cryptocurrencies in order to evade smart sanctions. In our study of the subject of this research, we will rely on the descriptive analytical approach by studying the subject of cryptocurrencies and smart international sanctions and describing them accurately, and analyzing the practical reality to show the role of cryptocurrencies in influencing smart international sanctions. We will divide this subject into two sections. In the first section, we will discuss the concept of cryptocurrencies, while in the second section, we will show the content of smart sanctions and the impact of cryptocurrencies on them.
