Abstract
Women's health in general, and reproductive health in particular, is part of the human right to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health. However, there are many challenges that hinder women's enjoyment of the right to sexual and reproductive health. These obstacles are interconnected and deeply rooted, and they occur at various levels. These challenges may include social and economic conditions, as well as biological and other factors, which negatively impact women's general health and reproductive health in particular.
We will address the legal aspects of the topic using an analytical approach, as the nature of the topic requires us to follow this approach in extrapolating and analyzing international agreements related to the issue of protecting women's health.
We will explore this topic in two sections, divided as follows:
- Section One: Defining women's health and reproductive rights and the challenges of protecting them
- Section Two: International protection of women's health
