Abstract
In this research, we try to show the treatments of the philosophy of atheism in Islamic thought: Muhammad Amara as a model. The Arab scene appears to be a concentrated image of the suffering of Western societies in previous eras, which led to the adoption of atheism; as a point of view, and although it is an idea that is difficult to accept in our Eastern societies due to its touch on the sacred, the essence and the transcendent, the methods of treating it should not be solved with violence and killing, as thought is only fought with thought. From this standpoint, we find it necessary to be careful in treating the phenomenon of atheism in Arab Islamic societies from a religious perspective, so that the problem is treated from within and in ways that do not incite the growth of the phenomenon as a result of the reaction to the act itself. The idea of atheism constituted one of the contemporary controversial issues that imposed itself after the events of September 11, 2001 as a result of a reaction to the act itself. Many young people believed that - atheism - is a protection for the individual from the accusation of extremism and violence, or a certificate of innocence from groups, or that it is the solution after the religious tendency failed to confront the contemporary challenges facing Arab youth and society.
