Abstract
The concept of cyber security has become one of the most important notions in international politics, as countries strive to achieve and maintain it in light of the technological and informational advancements that have brought about a qualitative shift across various fields (political, economic, military, security). This progress has had a significant impact on international relations, particularly in the areas of competition and conflict. Wars and crimes have taken on a new form (cyber wars, cybercrimes), now posing a threat to the international system in general and to individual states in particular. Cyber security challenges are a concern for all countries, regardless of their level of economic, military, or technological development. This has led many nations to reshape their strategic visions related to national security, including Russia, which is actively working to develop cyber security and employ it across various sectors (security, military, economic, technological) to confront cyber warfare that poses a threat to Russian national security.
