Abstract
The study of border problems of studies of important studies and its importance comes from knowing the causes of conflict between countries and knowing the ways to settle these disputes, which are carried out in two ways, namely the international judiciary represented by the International Court of Justice and international arbitration who are chosen by the conflicting parties in pursuit of achieving the rule of law instead of the rule of force, and the border dispute erupts between countries with common borders, which has an impact on disturbing friendly relations between neighboring countries.
This study is based on the hypothesis that the reasons for the conflict between Israel and Lebanon are Israel’s acquisition of large areas of land and placing it under its control, as well as its acquisition of natural resource wealth and placing it under its control, as well as its acquisition of natural resource wealth such as obtaining water. The intensity of these conflicts was increased by the explorations carried out by the Mediterranean basin countries, such as the discoveries of gas fields.
