Abstract
Western Union is one of the most important money transfer companies at the international level, as it carries out electronic money transfers through its licensed agents spread throughout the world. Western Union transfers are widely used due to the many advantages that characterize them and distinguish them from other transfers provided by similar companies and other banking businesses that are similar to them, as they contribute significantly to the field of financing commercial activities and meeting the needs of individuals on a personal level. The implementation of Western Union transfers results in the emergence of multiple legal relationships between the parent company (Western Union) and its licensed agents and those dealing with it, and the resulting multiple legal effects.
The aim of the research is to clarify the legal aspects that regulate the work of Western Union transfers as one of the means of electronic financial transfer at the international level, in addition to studying the texts that regulate the work of Western Union transfers and determining the legal status and what results from that in terms of clarifying the rights and obligations related to the parties to Western Union transfers.
