Abstract
The Chinese-American conflict over Taiwan is one of the most significant events in international political affairs, the history has never seen a rising force dominant so rapidly and on the different dimensions as Chinese power, it has the potential to redesign the existing international political system, The USA as the dominant force of the international order, has come to recognize the threat posed by China to its global standing and is so working hard to reduce this threat, it has declared China to be a reactionary force and to be the only country with the capacity and intention for reshaping the international political system, Taiwan serves as the dividing point between China, which seeks to annex Taiwan to its territory, gain superpower status, and the USA which looks to keep Taiwan independent and thereby diminish the Chinese role on the Asian continent and maintain American dominance over the world. The island of Taiwan has become at the heart of both China's and the USA’s national security because of its strategic standing with the parties to the conflict Sino-American competition to control of its capabilities will have significant implications for the future of the international political system .
