Abstract
One of the most important reasons for choosing the topic - in addition to its importance and modernity, is the great controversy raised by the Statute of the Court between states as well as among professors of international law and international relations in (Rome). The conference and its aftermath, especially with the lack of clarity in the relationship between the International Criminal Court and the Security Council.
The Security Council is mandated by the Charter of the United Nations to undertake the large and difficult task of maintaining international peace and security, which is known to act on behalf of the country. At the same time, it has the power to take whatever steps it deems appropriate to achieve its goals.
That the Security Council is mandated by the Charter of the United Nations to punish the perpetrators of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity that, in theory at least, are crimes of concern to the entire international community and threaten peace and security; To avoid being seen as overly optimistic in this area, to avoid the occurrence or recurrence of some conflicts, and to reduce the number of victims. I hope that the Security Council will strengthen this matter as the foundations for the peaceful coexistence of peoples and contribute to the maintenance of international peace and security.
