Abstract

The nationality of the investor plays an important role in determining
the law applicable in the disputes of investment contracts and in
determining the competent courts to deal with such disputes, especially if
the Contracting State tends to adopt the nationality of the contractor and
consider it the basis in the adaptation of investment contracts, but in
other times may adopt the worker's domicile in determining the foreign
contractor. The law of the State applicable and not his nationality, as may
be deliberately not to take his state on the basis of adapting investment
disputes, all this led us to study the subject comparatively between Iraq
and Egypt
